CASTROL TECHNICLEAN AS 58 is based on an aliphatic solvent, aromatic-free, virtually odorless, for cleaning processes to industrial level.

APPLICATIONS

It is used as a substitute of trichloroethane and other chlorinated solvents for removing all traces of oil and grease deposited on steel pieces and nonferrous metals during manufacturing processes.

REQUIRED FACILITIES

Static immersion tanks or with agitation, or specially designed facilities for handling hydrocarbon solvents.

NOTE: It is imperative that all equipment and work areas are authorized for handling of flammable solvents and are in line with local legislation.

RESTRICTIONS

CASTROL TECHNICLEAN AS 58 can’t be used in vapor degreasing facilities designed for chlorinated solvents.

USE

CASTROL TECHNICLEAN AS 58 is commonly used at room temperature. To get more degreaser power or a faster drying it can be heated to a temperature of 40 ° C (only on authorized equipments)
