Description:

The Alphasyn™ HTX gear oil range are synthetic oils based on polyalphaolefin (PAO) with sulfur/phosphorus additive technology, offering excellent thermal stability and good load-carrying capacity.

Application:

Alphasyn HTX has been formulated for use in most closed gear systems with low to medium load. It should not be used in highly loaded systems. Alphasyn HTX is also suitable for circulation systems operating at high temperatures. The excellent thermal and oxidation stability allows for extended oil change intervals in circumstances where extreme temperatures would result in a short life for a conventional mineral oil. This helps achieve cost savings by reducing the required maintenance level. All products in the Alphasyn HTX family have low pour points and excellent viscosity/temperature characteristics, allowing for use in both low and high-temperature applications. Alphasyn HTX is fully compatible with nitrile, silicone, and fluoropolymer seals.
