CASTROL Viscogen KL 23 - 20L

Castrol Viscogen KL™ is a range of thermally stable synthetic lubricants indicated for the lubrication of high-temperature chains in severe environments where the use of mineral oils or traditional synthetics would result in excessive wear, carbonisation, or residue formation. They can operate at temperatures up to 240ºC depending on viscosity. Viscogen KL is formulated with base fluids that form adherent, transparent, and odourless lubricating films. The additive package is free from solid compounds and silicones, providing high load-carrying capacity and wear protection. Application Optimol Viscogen KL is available in six different viscosities depending on environmental and operating conditions. Depending on the chain dimensions and shape, these are important for viscosity selection. The method of application must also be considered (e.g., manual lubrication, immersion, centralised lubrication, spraying, etc.). Optimol Viscogen KL can be used in many industrial applications: mobile racking, ovens, dryers, painting lines, cables, open gears, offset machines, plastic toothed belts, etc. Castrol Viscogen KL 23 is especially suitable for packaging machines with 'BOPP' (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene).
