Description The Castrol Hyspin™ AWS range of hydraulic oils is formulated from highly refined mineral oil and a zinc-based additive system. Application Hyspin AWS has been specially formulated to provide good anti-wear properties and thermal stability, thanks to the use of state-of-the-art additives. The careful combination of additives with the high-quality base ensures that Hyspin AWS has excellent oxidation and hydrolysis stability and a minimal tendency to form sludge and deposits. Additionally, Hyspin AWS provides protection against corrosion of ferrous metals and hydraulic system components composed of yellow metals. This range is designed for use in hydraulic systems requiring anti-wear protection. It can also be used in other applications where oxidation-resistant lubricants are required, such as lightly loaded gears, speed variators and bearings. The Castrol Hyspin AWS range is fully compatible with elastomer materials common in static and dynamic seals such as nitrile, silicones, and fluoropolymers (Viton).
