Castrol Syntilo 75 EF is a synthetic fluid, free from mineral oil and boron, developed for grinding and general metalworking operations on ferrous metals. It is compatible with standard machine tool components, demonstrating excellent compatibility with paints and elastomers. It possesses good anti-corrosion properties, as well as resistance to microbiological attack. It can be used in both individual sumps and centralised systems. It has been developed for surface, cylindrical, double-disc, and centreless grinding. It can also be employed for milling, drilling, turning, and non-severe machining of cast iron and steel alloys. ADVANTAGES: Excellent compatibility with machine tools. Non-greasy, non-aggressive towards paints, and offers very good corrosion protection. Low tendency to foam formation in all types of water. Inhibits microbiological growth, allowing for long fluid life in both individual sumps and centralised systems. Reduced product consumption, as top-ups are required at very low concentrations; excellent detergent properties, lower drag-out losses. Free from chlorine, boron, phenol, and nitrites.
