CASTROL RADICOOL NF, 208L

Description:

Castrol Radicool NF is a concentrated coolant formulated using monoethylene glycol and selected additives, free from nitrites, amines, and phosphates. It employs hybrid technology for use in high-performance engines of cars and trucks.

This coolant should be used in concentrations between 33% and 50% dilution with purified water to achieve optimal protection against corrosion and freezing between -18°C and -36°C.

Application:

Castrol Radicool NF has been developed to meet the growing demand from engine and automobile manufacturers for a coolant with minimal environmental impact. It provides excellent corrosion protection, and by not containing phosphates, it eliminates deposit issues that some modern high-performance engines suffer from. Additionally, it offers excellent protection against corrosion and low temperatures. Using this coolant at the recommended concentration levels will reduce the likelihood of cylinder liner damage from pitting due to cavitation erosion. Cavitation erosion is caused by the implosion of air bubbles in the coolant. These bubbles implode, resulting in the loss of small amounts of cylinder liner material. If not addressed, this situation can lead to excessive liner porosity, causing severe engine damage.

In most cases, coolants are not compatible and should not be mixed with other coolants unless expressly indicated by the manufacturer.

If using Radicool NF for the first time, ensure that the cooling system has been properly cleaned with clean water.
