This fluid is ideal for use in central systems and individual sumps. Typical operations: drilling, deep drilling, reaming, roller burnishing, tapping, and threading. EQO-PURE 450 provides protection against ferrous and non-ferrous corrosion and is particularly suitable for aerospace applications. This fluid incorporates next-generation additive technology to improve tool life and part quality, while avoiding issues related to extreme-pressure additives such as chlorine, sulfur, and phosphorus.
EQO-PURE 450 contains a unique synthesized vegetable-based material that has demonstrated excellent practical results during machining while maintaining hydrolytic stability. This product delivers the performance of a vegetable oil without the considerable waste generation and emulsion instability characteristic of competing products. EQO-PURE 450 produces a stable emulsion and provides outstanding cleanliness during operation, ensuring unmatched cutting performance and extended tool life.

EQO-PURE 450 does not contain as ingredients: boric acid, chlorine, diethanolamine, formaldehyde-releasing biocides, mercury, nitrite, phosphates, silicones, or sulfur.
Recommended Dilutions
EQO-PURE 450 must be mixed with water before use (add concentrate to water).
Grinding: 3–5%
Machining: 4–12%
Concentration Control
QualiChem recommends the use of an ATAGO Master M refractometer, although many brands and types of refractometers will provide accurate results if used correctly and properly calibrated.
