CASTROL Careclean AS 1, 3L

Description:

Castrol CareClean™ AS 1 is a fast-drying, low-odor solvent based on isoparaffin.

It has excellent solvent power and is compatible with all metallic and non-metallic substrates.

Application:

CareClean AS 1 has been specifically developed to replace chlorinated solvents as well as traditional solvents with high aromatic content. CareClean AS 1 exhibits excellent solvent capacity against mineral oils, greases, and other non-polar compounds that need to be removed in a manufacturing process. It is also especially recommended where part drying is required.

Conditions of Use:

CareClean AS 1 can be used in different applications, both in manual and automatic equipment.

Immersion Tank:

• Components are immersed in the pure product. Contact time depends on the dirt to be removed.

Ultrasonic Tank:

• Components are completely immersed in the pure product.

Low-Pressure Vapor Phase Degreasing Equipment:

• The product can be used in sealed hydrocarbon vapor phase degreasing equipment.

Absorbent Cloths:

• The product is used pure, applied manually or by spraying or brushing, or using a cloth pre-impregnated with the product. The surface and substrate are cleaned with the cloth until clean, dry, and shiny.

The maximum operating temperature is 40 ºC.
