Arxada develops specialty chemicals for preservation and microbial control. At Lubricalia, BODOXIN is an in-can bactericidal and fungicidal preservative for metalworking fluids, water-miscible cutting oils and other water-based products such as paints, dispersions, adhesives and detergents.

Its documented use is the preservation of water-based formulations and systems; it is not presented as a drinking-water treatment.
