Rhenus TS 421 is a semi-synthetic cutting fluid with low mineral oil content. Application Rhenus TS 421 is a universal cutting fluid for machining of steel and cast iron and for grinding operations. Rhenus TS 421 exhibits high long-term stability, even under difficult conditions. Working concentration: Machining and grinding of steel > 7% Machining and grinding of cast iron > 7% The estimated concentration in the emulsion can be determined using a hand-held refractometer. The value read in º Brix, multiplied by the refractometry factor, will indicate the total concentration in %. In used emulsions, due to an increase in dispersion, the refractometer reading may be difficult. For application, please respect the valid VDI 3035, 3397 1 – 3 directives.
