Loxeal 18-10, anaerobic curing adhesive, 50ml

Description:

Adhesive anaerobic, suitable for sealing threaded metal connections. Suitable for sealing gas, LPG, compressed air, oils, fuels, CFCs, potable water, and other chemicals. Its low coefficient of friction ensures easy assembly, and its thixotropic properties prevent product migration in the thread before and during curing. Replaces hemp and PTFE tapes. The cured product forms a tough film with medium disassembly resistance. Resistant to impacts, vibrations, thermal shock, and maintains sealing properties in temperatures ranging from -55°C to +150°C. Approved as a sealant for gas circuit connections according to EN751-1 standard, DIN-DVGW, and for LPG by AGA up to 20 bar and up to 2” diameter. WRAS approved for use in contact with potable water. Approved for gaseous oxygen by BAM up to 10 bar and +60°C. NSF certified S4 for sealing threaded connections in the food area. Tested by KIWA as a sealant for use with pure hydrogen, according to EN751-1 standard.

Typical Curing Characteristics of Anaerobics:

Curing speed depends on substrates, gap, and temperature. Functional strength is typically achieved 1-3 hours after assembly. Complete curing is achieved in 24-36 hours. For passive surfaces and/or low temperatures, use of Loxeal 11 activator is recommended; its use may reduce final strength.
