Features

The IDRA 2 helmet consists of:

• an outer shell made of pressure-molded ABS (with integrated lamp holder)
• an inner shell made of pressure-molded ABS
• a harness comprising:
  • a braided fabric cap
  • a low-density polyethylene headband, with a nape strap with closure tape, removable and adjustable from 49 to 63 cm
  • a comfort band of 32 cm
• an integrated polycarbonate visor with a thickness of 2.2 mm, optical class 1, anti-fog interior treatment, and anti-scratch exterior treatment, with the possibility of locking in the raised position and in the working position
• the helmet is factory-supplied with a 4-point chinstrap with chin guard

Certifications and tests

The protective helmet meets the requirements of the NF EN 397+A1: 2013 standard, as well as the following optional requirements:

• resistance to very low temperatures, -30 °C

• electrical insulation, symbol 440V~

The protective helmet meets the requirements of the NF EN 50365: 2002 standard:

• dielectric test at 5000 V and dielectric strength test at 10,000 V, double triangle symbol - class 0

The protective helmet meets the requirements of the PREN 50365; the corresponding tests are indicated below:

• dielectric test at 20,000 V and dielectric strength test at 30,000 V.

The IDRA 2 visor meets the requirements of the European standard NF EN 166: 2002, whose main tests are indicated below:

• optical powers of eye protection, optical class 1

• transmission factor, ultraviolet protection filter: step number: 2-1.2, according to NF EN 170: 2003

• protection against high-speed particles, medium-energy impact 120 m/s, symbol B

• protection against droplets and liquid splashes, symbol 3

• protection against short-circuit electric arc, symbol 8

• protection against molten metal and hot solids, symbol 9

• resistance to surface damage by fine particles, symbol K

• resistance to fogging of eye protection, symbol N

The IDRA 2 visor meets the requirements of the GS ET 29 reference document, test at 4 kA (class 1).

The IDRA 2 helmet/visor combination + NOMEX balaclava meets the requirements of the GS ET 29 reference document, test at 7 kA (class 2).

Rear rigid tag holder, kit of 6 high-visibility stickers, 4-point chinstrap with earmuffs, Nomex balaclava, sani-contour comfort adjustment 32 cm, engraved identification label, hygienic cap, headlamp.

Marking

The helmet allows for front marking (70 x 35 mm), side marking (70 x 16 mm), or rear marking (50 x 40 mm) by hot stamping or engraving of initials or company name.
