Description

Castrol CareClean™ AS 1 WDL contains individually packaged, perforated cleaning wipes made of nonwoven fabric, impregnated with a fast drying, low odour, isoparaffin based solvent cleaner.

Application

CareClean AS 1 WDL has been developed specifically as an alternative to products containing low flash point and high aromatic hydrocarbon solvents for removing mineral oils, fats, greases and other non-polar soils. It is particularly recommended when contact of the parts with water is not desired. CareClean AS 1 WDL is compatible with all metal substrates and most non-metal substrates. The excellent solvency and the rapid evaporation rate makes CareClean AS 1 WDL suitable for cleaning applications across various industries, such as electronic and electrical equipment and automotive paint shops. In aerospace manufacturing and assembly Careclean AS 1 WDL is particularly suitable for general cleaning operations, such as degreasing aircraft parts from hydraulic oil leakages, cleaning screws and bolts of the landing gear or removing excessive coolant from drillings.
