TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

A single application is sufficient to achieve long-lasting anti-slip effects.

APPLICATIONS:

Suitable for porous, glazed, or porcelain floors (porcelain stoneware, porcelanatto), as well as tiles in shower rooms. Generally applicable to porcelain or glazed floors. Not suitable for plastic floors and/or PVC resins, painted surfaces, or with coatings of epoxy or polyester resins or other already applied anti-slip treatments.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Use undiluted, as supplied. The dose should be adjusted according to the type and porosity of the floor. The material may experience changes in tone and/or shine (perform a prior test in a discreet place). For porcelain stoneware, granite, and marble floors, it is advisable to perform a prior test due to the variety of floors on the market and the different porosities and hardness of the materials used in the floors, resulting in a loss of shine, so it is sometimes necessary to dilute the product in water up to 4 or 5 parts water and even adjust the action times to achieve the required results. Apply the product with a mop, brush, roller, glass scraper, or clean wool extender that does not shed hair, as if it were paint, spreading it evenly over the area to be treated. The desired surface must be well covered with the product, avoiding the formation of bubbles. Avoid splashes and leaving the applicators deposited on the surface, as this can cause unwanted stains. It is important to distribute it evenly for optimal results. The surface must be completely dry and clean before application. To do this, it must be cleaned beforehand with QUEMDIZ/DECAGRAS. Ensure that the product covers the desired surface completely and spread it well. The surface must be well covered with the product without any areas without application or unwanted bubbles. DO NOT ADD WATER DURING APPLICATION. If the floor is very dense, a rotary machine with a soft disc can be used to even out the process. For delicate floors, NO SCRUBBING IS NECESSARY. Let the product act for 10 - 20 minutes depending on the type of floor and/or porcelain. CAUTION: the applied product is quite slippery until neutralized with water, so fall risks should be avoided and safety footwear should be used during application. After the exposure time, simply remove the product with plenty of cold water. Ensure that there is no excess product or residue by performing thorough rinsing. From that moment on, the anti-slip effect can be noticed. Finally, to achieve a more uniform finish and to increase cleaning and maintenance frequencies, it is recommended to apply a protective layer of QUEMDIZ/RESINA EA 150, an acrylic finishing protection resin. The approximate yield is 1 L / 8 - 10 m2 depending on the porosity of the floor.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

It is advisable to use rubber or latex gloves during handling. Due to the variety of floor types, a prior test in a discreet place is recommended to adjust the action times and observe the results. Since some floors may lose their shine due to the anti-slip treatment, sometimes a slight scrubbing is required depending on the type of floor.
