FUCHS GLEITMO SRC 994, 4 kg

GLEITMO SRC 994 is a sprayable refractory release agent and lubricant developed for application to hot surfaces. Water-based, it is neutral with regard to fumes and odours and forms a dry, dense and coherent lubricating film. It contains high-purity graphite as a solid lubricant, a special binder and an additive package tailored to the application.

It is used as a release agent for sliding inner nozzles for mortar and well-block demoulding, gas-purge cones for mortar and well-block release, sliding-nozzle connections to the ladle outlet, fixed plate/inner nozzle and sliding plate/interchangeable nozzle connections, and for the mechanical protection of aggregate separation shields, frames and housings. It is ready for use and does not require dilution. It is sprayed onto the surface of the refractory component using an atomising spray device. GLEITMO SRC 994 is suitable for all types of refractory materials and is applied directly to hot ceramic surfaces (>800 °C).
