TITAN DOT 514 LV is a premium-performance brake fluid meeting ISO 4925 Class 7. Its high dry and wet boiling points exceed the requirements of FMVSS NR. 116 DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1, providing reliable operation during prolonged braking and at high brake-system temperatures.

Its low viscosity enables rapid actuation and supports the correct operation of ESP and ABS safety systems even at low temperatures. With BluEV technology, it is suitable for hydraulic brake systems in conventional, selected hybrid and electric vehicles.

Application

When using TITAN DOT 514 LV, the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations must be observed. TITAN DOT 514 LV must not be used in brake or hydraulic systems where mineral- or silicone-based fluids are specified, for example LHM or DOT 5.

TITAN DOT 514 LV was originally developed for conventional applications, but also meets the requirements of certain hybrid and electric applications in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. BluEV technology therefore bridges existing and new lubricant applications.

TITAN DOT 514 LV is miscible and compatible with conventional brake fluids of the same technology or specifications. To fully benefit from TITAN DOT 514 LV, mixing with other products should be avoided and a complete change to TITAN DOT 514 LV is recommended. In case of contact with hands or car paint, wash thoroughly with water.
