ANTICORIT DFW 8101 belongs to a new generation of barium-free, water-displacing corrosion inhibitors. It forms a thin, waxy, greasy film that is dry to the touch and provides excellent corrosion protection, water displacement and stability in acidic or alkaline media. Its formulation is based on solvents free from aromatic compounds, resulting in a very low, almost imperceptible odour.

It is used to protect metal parts, tools, machinery components, gears, engines and spare parts. The thin waxy film is compatible with conventional engine and gear oils, so it often does not need to be removed before assembly. It is effective for interprocess protection, storage and protection during transport, and can be combined with VCI products from the ANTICORIT VCI range to increase corrosion protection. It is especially recommended after washing and galvanising processes.
