BRYTEN GRC is used to improve the adhesion of mortars, such as renders and coatings, to old or smooth concrete surfaces. It is also used in repair mortars, such as screeds, and in GRC mortars, where it acts as a binding anti-crack additive.

It improves mortar plasticity and adhesion, as well as resistance to chemical and atmospheric attack and compressive and flexural strength. It reduces shrinkage and therefore the risk of cracking. It is easy to handle and apply, contains no solvents, and does not alter setting or hardening.
