PROPERTIES:

This formulation aims to enhance the cleaning and penetration power of petroleum, while completely neutralizing its drying effect on rubber, silicone, etc. It reduces surface tension, facilitating easy penetration between parts, even extracting sediment accumulated in cracks and crevices. It dissolves residues of grease, oils, dust, mold, antifreeze, tar, etc., forming a milky emulsion. Leaves no sticky residues. Effective even in hard water. Reduces petroleum evaporation and its solvent and emulsifying power reduces consumption. Non-toxic. Non-alkaline or caustic, hence harmless to painted surfaces; does not affect seals or rubbers.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Chemical compound used as an additive for petroleum in degreasing operations, can also be used neat depending on the degree of dirt and adherence to the surface to be cleaned. Due to its alkyl chain terminations, hydrophilic and lipophilic, AGRASCAR acts in two phases: FIRST PHASE where the product binds to dirt residues to be removed, forming a bond: AGRASCAR------------------------DIRT

SECOND PHASE where water is added under pressure, binding from the opposite end, forming a union: WATER---------------AGRASCAR-------------------DIRT

This, it can be easily removed by simple rinsing.

APPLICATIONS:

Additive for cleaning in degreasing operations of internal combustion engines (vehicles, automobiles, boats, airplanes, trucks, public works machinery, agricultural machinery, tractors, washing machines…). Cleaning and degreasing of general parts and machinery. Also used for cleaning concrete floors with grease deposits. Also used for cleaning parts, tools, etc. by immersion, brush or rubbing. Dissolves residues of grease, oils, dust, mold, tars, etc., forming a milky emulsion with rinse water.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Can be used neat or mixed with gas-oil, gasoline or petroleum in a ratio of 1 to 4 parts. For economical cleaning, dilution can be increased up to 8 parts. Spray the mixture over all dirty engine parts and let it sit for 5 to 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of high-pressure water and dry with compressed air (at approximately 7 atm.) to remove emulsified dirt. Spray the product or AGRASCAR mixture with the chosen solvent on the surface to be cleaned, let it sit for about 10 minutes. Rinse afterwards with high-pressure water. Dirt will be emulsified with the water. Occasionally, it may be used diluted up to 8 parts of petroleum, gas-oil, gasoline depending on the adhered dirt.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

This product is also very useful for immersion cleaning of parts, tools… mixed with gas-oil or petroleum. Leave immersed for 15 minutes, then rinse with high-pressure water and dry with air. Before spraying and to prevent electrical parts from contacting moisture, it is advisable to protect critical areas such as distributor, coil, regulator, contactors with plastic.
