ECOCOOL AD D 25 is a glycol-based solution of organic polysiloxane polymers, chemically modified organic silicones. Under certain circumstances, special soluble cutting fluids for metal machining may produce foam, in some cases due to the use of demineralized water or to the high pressures and recirculation flow rates.

ECOCOOL AD D 25 is used as an antifoam additive to eliminate foam formation in aqueous circuits. Its active ingredients act at the liquid-air interface and immediately break the bubbles that are continuously generated.
