ECOCOOL AD-AC is an aqueous solution of a harmless, non-corrosive calcium salt that provides emulsions with long-lasting antifoaming properties. Under certain circumstances, special soluble cutting fluids for metal machining may produce foam, in some cases due to the use of demineralized or very low-hardness water.

ECOCOOL AD-AC is used as an additive to increase the hardness of emulsions and soluble cutting-fluid solutions, as well as aqueous degreasers used in washing machines, in order to eliminate any foaming that may occur.
