THERMISOL M 1200 N is a quenching fluid based on highly refined mineral oil, formulated with antioxidant, anticorrosion and cooling-rate-accelerating additives.

It is a suitable cooling medium for achieving low distortion and is especially indicated for hardening bearing and gear steels. It is recommended for installations requiring a minimum vapor phase, such as chamber furnaces, and for minimizing distortion in the treated material, reducing straightening operations and grinding work after quenching. Parts from both neutral and carburizing salt baths can also be quenched.
