THERMISOL PR 420 is a quenching fluid based on synthetic polymers, with anticorrosion, antioxidant and wetting additives, specially designed for batch or induction quenching of alloy steels.

It is used for quenching steels and non-ferrous alloys, helping achieve a final structure with maximum transformation and minimum material distortion. It provides a wide range of closely controlled cooling rates depending on its concentration. Its carefully developed formulation enables quenching characteristics similar to those of mineral oils and allows highly alloyed steels to be treated successfully.
