RENOQUENCH 6 KB is a quenching fluid based on highly refined mineral oil, formulated with antioxidant, anticorrosion and cooling-rate-accelerating additives.

It is used for quenching steels with low and medium hardenability that require accelerated cooling, in applications including automotive components, drop-forged parts, gears, springs and leaf springs, fasteners, carburized and carbonitrided materials, and induction hardening. It is also particularly suitable for the direct quenching of steels used for dies, moulds, bearings, drawing dies and tools, as well as for steels requiring high core hardness. Due to its high quenching speed and low viscosity, it is recommended for continuous furnaces.
